I dont wana cause a huge Honda Yamaha debte but i dont know what to get.I want a manual or auto clutch with selectable 4x4 and 2x4. Yamaha's are all Ultramatic crap and Honda's don't do selectable. i want a bit of speed too i dunno hard to really choose. Its for rec use but ill work it a bit too. Are the ultramatics and fun, any speed? Do I really need 4x4? I was looking at a raptor 350 for fun but i also want a bit of utiltiy still having decent speed for fun.

Name a manual ATV Utility that is fast and I will buy it for you. Honda "Utility" and "Quick" are not used in the same sentence.
My 500 belt drive auto which weighs 100lb more than a manual 500 Foreman will smoke it from start to finish even if it was not running right.
Sport ATV I would say manual all the way. Not sure if they even make a belt drive sport ATV.

I believe the honda rancher 420 is just the bike your looking for. Five speed trans with auto clutch. 4X4 FI liquid cooled. Moderately priced.</end quote></div>
I didn't even know Honda made a 4x4 you could switch into 4x2. "All new for 2009". For a lot of people that means don't buy one for a year or two, to see if it's any good or not. I don't know how fast it is, but other than that it fits with the OP.

If you have an old Honda 300 or Rancher 350, or Honda Foreman 400 & 450, the WARN 424 will make them selectable 2wd/4wd.
All the newer Hondas are selectable 2wd/4wd....
If you have the money for a new Honda 420...ignore every other quad on the planet! It can be had in 2wd/SRA, 4wd/SRA, or 4wd/IRS/with a totally unique new gear-on-gear twin clutch automatic transmission!
