My results>>> I test drove the 2004 yfz 450. Not good. It had been roled at a very high speed. The whole right front has been replace. But it still sat funny. Bars were bent. No oil mod had been done and the "kid" bought it new. Tire had a death wobble. I feel it rode alot like a Honda 450r. But can't be sure because of the damage. I also rode the 2004 Suzuki z400 today. I enjoyed it. It needed a bunch of cosmetic work. And new brakes. It also need front plastic and a new seat. I also liked the fact it had a reverse and was liquid cooled. But I passed. Feel the bad out weighted the good on that one. Looking at a pure stock 2004 400ex. asking price 2500 talked down to 2100. No nerfs though.

I will keep everyone updated. Thanks

The yfz is a fast quad maybe not suited for the riding you will be doing but i also do a little bit of that on my 450 so it would work. But i agree with the others a z400, 400ex or raptor 700 all would work good for you.
