Default Good first quad?

My dad just traded his Polaris 500 sportsman 4x4 for an 01 banshee and now it's time for me to start saving up for my own quad. I'm 16 so im not looking to spend too much. Maybe $3000 at most. I'd mostly be riding on the dunes and doing tree shots and things like that. Occasionally some trail riding. I was looking at a couple options :
Honda 400ex
Raptor 660
Banshee
And if ï find one in my budget maybe a yfz450 or honda trx450.
Also I'm 5'10 140 pounds. What do you think is the best?

Honda 400ex is a proven, reliable quad with plenty of potential to hop it up if you want more speed later. The 450's are more maintenance intensive.

400 ex is probably going to be the least expensive too, though I've seen some Raptor 660s for close to the same price and they have quite a bit more power than a 400ex. Banshees are getting harder to find and most have been heavily modified. Makes for a faster quad but not as reliable. 2 strokes are not as reliable in the first place, let alone modified 2 strokes. The 450s are going to be more expensive, going to be harder to find one in your price range that doesn't need work. So either the 400ex or Raptor would be your best choice.
