350 Rancher 4X4 VS Kawasaki 300

Buy the one you like better!
Distinguishing the two rides, the Honda has 50 cc more displacement; the Kawasaki has a dual-range transmission (10 forward speeds), and semi-independent rear suspension (swing axle).
A recent review of the Bayou is accessible from the ATV Connection home page.
You can't go wrong with either.

I just rode both. Both are nice rides although I think the Honda Rancher has stronger acceleration. I don't know what the top speed is but I heard mid 40's.
For my pourposes, I bought the Honda. Reliability and resale value are the best.
Plenty of comments to read about these machines on these forums. It was a tremendous help to this first time buyer.

The best way to pick one it to test drive them both. Before purchasing my Rancher, I drove Honda 450s, Kodiak, Bayou, Honda 400ex & the rancher. The rancher fit me better + the Honda reliability factor. I would have bought the Kodiak if it had had a speedometer & hourmeter.
In my opinion you can't go wron with Honda or Yamaha. After that I like the Kawi, then there is the rest of them. The Polaris are HEAVY.
