Rancher or Prairie 360
#1
Have always been committed to Honda because of the well earned reputation for workmanship and reliability. Have to admit though, that the 360 is a heckuva bike. Can't ignore the 2/4wd option, diffy lock, auto tranny etc. Any thoughts? Negatives to the 360? I'd hate myself if I took that plunge and found myself broken down in the middle of the forest.

Hard to say. I think there is the chance of breaking down with *any* quad. the only insurance you have is solid maintenace.
As far as which one. Go ride them both and decide which features you need/want the most. The P360 looks like a good bike but the Rancher has been around a few years and a manual trany can be a real advantage in certain situations.

I had the same choice, went with the Eiger. It will be interesting to see the first shootout between these three. So far, the mags place the Eiger above the Rancher. If you read between the lines on the P360 tests reports they say they like it...but....When an ATV magazine says, "It's not as fast as some" about a brand new model, that means that it's slow.
I have a hunch that due to newness and "fun factor" they will rank them Eiger/360/Rancher. In reality, all three are so close that it will boil down to brand loyality, how they feel to you or what features you want; Electric shift? The rancher is the only one. Automatic? Must be Eiger or Kawi.
You really can't go wrong with any of them.
