Default Upside down DS...what will parts $$

I rolled it this last weekend and bent the steering shaft, tie rod and handlebars. Since these are common items to get bent, I was wondering if anybody could give an estimate of replacement cost would be? I was going to get aftermarket bars. Do I need to get any certain size to get them to fit? I was looking at the Tusk aluminum bars from Rocky mountain, but heard that aftermarket bars won't fit a DS without an adapter...

Get the Renthal 400ex bend bars and the riser from alba. As far as the rest goes take you steering stem to a local fabrication shop ans they can fix it. They can also make it longer so you wont need the bar riser. Best bet for tie rods is gonna be the dealer. the only aftermarket ones that ive seen come with aftermarket A-Arms. My Renthals survived my second rollover incident without a scratch.

A new steering stem is 120 and if you want to get some real good bars get the pro tapers. I rolled mine 3 weeks ago and the steering stem bent and the bars didn't have a scratch on them. They are spendy but it will be the last pair of bars you ever buy. You will need the rizer block from alba to run any good set of bars also.

Thanks guys, I knew the tie rod would probably have to be a dealer piece, along with the steering shaft, I was just unsure about the handlebars. I'll take a closer look at my handlebars, just to make sure they indeed are bent, and get the riser and different bars if they are.

When I bent my steering stem I pulled it and brought it to the machine shop next door and he straightened it pretty damn good on his press for $20. Just my .02

try the trail tech fatbars and aluminum bar adapter.ive got it on mine and they look sooo cool and their cheap,$130 for both.i think their running an ad in rocky mountain now,and theres four sets of bars to chose from. p.s. they dont hit the tank either.
