what town in IL are u from again?

im in dekalb and it was around 5 1/2 hours (plus the fact we didnt know exactly where the place was and it took us 30 minutes to find the actual entrance to the dunes didnt help...lol)

 

I live in Lake Geneva, but my shop is in Richmond. Right on the Wi, Illinois border on hwy 12.

Well, with the help of Yahoo! Maps...I figured out that I'm about 20 hours drive away from Silver Lake (that being the closest sand dune from me)...

Maybe next year something could be arranged [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

Is Silver Lake worth the trip, you think??

haah i question it being worth the trip at 5 hours of driving....lol

id say find more places in canada to ride....the 500 acres of sand just dosnt seem worth a day of driving....(i dont know what u get for gas mileage, but that would cost a few bills anyway to drive that distance)

but i did see license plates from all over the place (a large number being from penn state....kinda wierd...)
