Hightower, I thought a rev limiter for Nos was a big no-no? If you cut the spark you pack in fuel and Nos and when it comes back on Kapowie!!!

well i saw what cdi jeff was running and he has to be the biggest nos junkie out there, it was the woods . proper clearance and things should be ok i've over reved mine plenty.

Um, does the Woods CDI have a rev limiter? with all the different CDIs out there I can't remember.

I plan on nos this winter, and I'll dam sure be sporting a rev limiter before the bottle goes live.

with a stock motor the hp drops off just after 6K on the tach, never saw much use for a rev beyond 8K, but I've yet to see a dyno chart of a motor setup like mine to know where the numbers fall. I'll be going on a dyno soon to find out, and prolly get the vortex programmable cdi later on this winter (if i go thru with the n2o plan).

Chris, some stock motors with stock cdi's are still making power over 6k with the right carb.
Dyno's of stock motor/stock cdi with Lectron 46HV....
