Default Lectron HQ - Anybody know?

Who is out there that can either modify or make a new intake for the 48mm and the 50 mm? I am considering the 50mm but I need to fiqure out how to make the manifold work. Does anybody do this kind of work?

ThePunisher, Mr Horspower will put the intake on a mill and bore it to make everything equal, and then port it to the head. He does a great job! His contact is E-Mail. His name is Eric.

If I was to suggest anything, I would suggest getting the carb in a high velocity set up instead of the old style straight through design. I don't know if they do a 48 or 50 in HV, but I would ask.

ironrod, If you do get the carb from someone else, YOU are going to have to do alot of R&D on dyno's and field work to get the carb to be set up for the customer. These carbs don't come from the factory pre-jetted. I know that MR Horsepower and Randall have put a ton of money out there to get these carbs set up almost perfect. It is not as easy as you think. Have you contacted either of these gentlemen to see if they would sell to you at a wholesale price at quantity?

DuneDevil,

Eric and I have worked together in the past and I think we could work something out going forward. I'll cross my fingers.

If you want an electron carb I would go with HorsePower Reaserch. Eric is a real good guy to work with. JMO
