Anyone know how to adjust the amount of engine braking?
I've tried searching the forums about this topic, but seems no one's talked about this. I think the engine braking characteristics of the outlander is very impressive. Yet, I'm finding many times riding I wish the engine braking wasn't so strong, like just coasting around corners, and many other times. The brakes work very well to compensate for less engine braking. Does anyone know exactly what determines the amount of engine braking that is applied, and maybe someone knows just how to adjust it? Maybe a spring or an adjuster of some kind?

The engine braking system(EBS) cannot be adjusted, however it can be disabled by removing the one-way clutch mechanism out the primary clutch. It's either an all or nothing situation. There are some specialized tools needed to take the clutch apart. The tools are available from Bomb. I suggest investing in a shop manual, it is available from your dealer.
