I was in a forum that I go to for my car and they where talking quads and a guy said that his freinds stock Z400 beat his other freinds DS650... that is the most retarded thing I have ever heard... my freind has a brand new Z400 and I kill him every time by at least 8-10 lenghts... keep in mind he weighs 140 pounds to my 240 pounds and I still beat him that bad.. I would hate to see if someone his size was on my quad when they raced... has anyone ever had a stock Z ever come anywhere even close to beating them???

 

It's just the people with a big flapper talk a lot of $hit untill it actually comes time to race or compare whatever they want... Then 1 out of 2 things happen, they either have an excuse to avoid the situation OR if you can talk the the bull$hitters into a race.... After racing the guy with the big mouth and beating him terribly will be the time when all the talk stops and he begins a period of silence...... Then most of the time the talk will begin again behind your back then you can always have the pleasure of saying... "Anytime you want to line them up."[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

I've had one come close. My friend has a KFX 400 with a full pipe, edelbrock carb, ignition box, filter, and weighs 150lbs. He can hang with me at 300 lbs. till I hit third gear. Then it is all over.

If he was dragging at 300ft maybe, If he was asleep at the tree and the Z-got a jump. I have lost drags to Z's in this distance because I wasn't paying attention at the start. I was climbing hard on them though. My ET was faster as well as my top speed @300ft but I was slow on the reaction time and lost. That is the only way a Z will beat a DS in a drag. Anything longer and the Z is sucking exhaust fumes.

nope. My dad has a new Z400 with a full Yosh pipe and K&N and he can barely make it up comp at Dumont. The Z is weak compared to a DS.

 

haha we have let "Z's" take off and pass us then take off and catch up to them and pass them lol in drag races

 

yea I let my freind take off first then I get up next to him and start feathering the throttle while he is at full trottle.. then I just nail it and leave him.... heheheh

 

zzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzz thats what my ds does after a znack. they taste like chicken fingers with zesty sauce. BUT the z will kill a ds if the ds chokes on the something like the axle of the z.
