Yes, position 'one' on the handlebar switch. Its the high-rev performance map with Rev limit set at 8900. That is always there and is most like the power gain you would get from Ron Wood Racing CDI.

I switched over when I put my big bore kit in and had it dynoed. The traction map does make more torque at lower RPM range. On my bike and the dyno it was about 4 FT pounds greater. If you order for russel carting they will program what ever rev limit you want. The traction map does make take offs much better and a noticable change.

Do a search for Vortex. I've already posted the maps about 5 times. You should have no problem finding it.

I have reved to 9,7500 with the way its built
97500 in 5th gear with 14/40 gearing and 22 tires = 93mph
The springs are rated to what 9600 I think

If you dynoed it, you'll find there's no real good power advantage of revving up above 9000 rpm (in most cases) rather than just shifting to the next gear. If you are topping out, consider a 15 tooth sprocket instead of a 14. If then you are worried about loss of torque in the low end, you shouldn't be - not with those A1 A2 cams. Besides, you can give your quad monster torque on the low end with the Vortex.
