Twist throttle, Which
#2
The Motion pro "Comp" one is a very good twist throttle. I had bought a "Vortex" one but the throw on it was very short. It depends on what kind of riding you do. If it is trails and track I would use the "Comp", but if it is sand drags I would go for the "Vortex".

Thanks
I ride dunes but i dont do much drag racing mostly techinical tracks through the dunes so sounds like the motion pro is ok
do you know if it will have enough travel to operate a lectron carb?

I just put a MP vortex on mine. I was concerned about how short the throw was but after a couple of Dune trips I am very happy with it. its nice being able to crack WFO with probably a little more than a 1/4 turn of the throttle. makes it easy to brake the end loose and powerslide or roost when you want. of course now you have to becareful who you let get on it now. I helped 12 year old on a dirtbike tow his bike back to camp and he seemed to have a hard time managing the throttle so I just told him to keep it in first and give it just a little tiny twist.

When i had my DS i bought the CR competion throttle and it was cheapest ( being least expensive and POOR quality) twist ive ever used. The plastic twist part that you hold onto rubbed horribly on the aluminum housing, the throttle wanted to stick bad until i put about a pound of grease in it. This is the twist throttle youll get for about $35, id recommend getting one of the higher quality motion-pro throttle like mentioned above. I had a question about what one to get for my 450r and someone pm'd saying that the vortex is the way to go (whoever PM'd me thanks for help, it got deleted on accident).
