Default tm48

has any of u tried the tm48 on a big bore. is the difference in the 48 and in the 45 worth the purchase or are they pretty close?

The tm48 carb is a great buy for the $$. As long as you run the snorkle tube to add some torque. Definiately pick the 48 over 45. When dialed in correctly it is well worth the money and does good on alky also. JMO

how many ponies do think u gain with the 48 over the 45.........how about the thumb throttle is harder to push than the 45?

I don't think it is any harder to push than the 45, I think when I got mine Knutz said it was like 5 HP gain over the 45, it seems to have a little less bogging issues. Right now I run mine without the pump, 40 pilot, 160 main.. I guess I don't need the pump, but someday I will expermint with it.

lol....thats how i am with the 45. i ride it like a two stroke anyway....and for drag racing u dont need it.I keep saying im going to hook it up and try it, but if it dont gain h.p. ....i seem to lose intrest in it
