THINKING OF SELLING MY 2004 BAJA X
I HAVE A 2004 BAJA X WITH ITP MUDLITE TIRES FRONT & REAR. I LOVE THE POWER BUT FOR THE TRAILS I RIDE IT'S NOT SO GOOD. ALOT OF WATER & MUD. I SEEM TO GET THROW AROUND ALOT ON SMALL BUMPS WHERE MY 1999 SPORTMAN 500 JUST GLIDES OVER. IT HAS ABOUT 100 MILES ON IT. WHAT WOULD BE A FAIR PRICE TO SELL IT. I MIGHT GET ANOTHER SPORTMAN 700 EFI. BETTER FOR THE STUFF I RIDE IN.

did you try to soften the suspention ? any performance quad wont ride as good a a quad w/ independent suspention in those conditions. but setting the suspention softer might help out. Good luck. as for pricing ask the dealers around your area then tack a 150 more for jewing down.

Asked my dealer where i bought it today , with only 100 miles on it or so he said i would lose 2000 off what i paid.
NO WAY . i tried softening the rear today. i can't get the 2 locking nuts on the top of the rear shock to move . so i just turned down the the 2 small screws about 2 turns on each. front i just turned springs up about 1 inch on both.
i'll try this to see if this helps.

was that for trade in or to sell out right? lose 2000 that makes me sick, will the dealer let you sell it on consingment? if not cycle trader time!
those nuts are locked tight they will take a strong/ long screw driver and a good size hammer. there like every thing else on these quads tight!
good luck
