NOS kits are used in applications from relatively low compression stock type motors to Pro-Modifieds, which often exceed 15 to 1. Man the guy that started this thread has no idea what he is talking about!! It's all about proper setup, cleanliness, and knowing your limits. many have ran it for a long time and never had a blowin up motor. Few have and for reasons I already specified.

 

I don't even think he knows what a ds is!!!

 

I did a search by author, I think we should all take him more seriously. I think he can give a valuable contribution to the atv community...Maybe we should listen to his input on Nitrous his posts

or maybe he is just funny.

It doesnt matter, he still doesnt know what he is talking about. The thing about NOS is you dont build the NOS to put on the quad, you build the quad to put the NOS on. When done right I guarentee you years of reliable fast runs.

 

it doesn't seem most guys that put nos on are as worried about the engine as they are about going fast.
