Fan coming on at idle

Is it normal for the fan to come on at idle with the bike parked. I can start up my new Baja X that has about 10hrs on it, and after about 4-5 minutes the fan will come on. This is in about 85 degree heat.

Yes thats normal, the radiator isnt getting cooled down because its not moving.

the engine will get hot at idle
