yeah 22's make the ds a wheelie monster!!

they don't look to small on a ds like they do on other quads b/c of the size of the ds. I think 22's are the ideal size tire.

 

I have ran 22" Holeshot XCT's for two years now,The same set has over 130hrs and I have had only one flat, they do real goog on hard pack, rocks

 

I have 20" Raz'r 2's on my DS. Excellent tire, very tough, and great traction on all surfaces except for long uphill dunes they have to much traction and dig in. The sidewall lugs are awesome they will get you out of rutts like no other. And hey, they have yellow lettering that matched my black/yellow DS. The holeshots are a great tire but I've had both and there is no contest the Raz'r 2's are for me.

i have one last question, will the 22's fit
with the stock heel guards or do i need to trim them up

i like the yellow lettering on the razors thats a nice bonus

 

I run 22 Holeshot XCT's in rear and they work great. They should fit fine with stock heelguards on the 03 and earlier, but 04 have a shorter swingarm and might rub.

 

22" Bandit XC rear tires fit with the stock heel gaurds on an '05 DS650.
