Default ASR A-arms - are they any good ?

I lube mine with sewing machine oil...works like a charm. I've never had any squeaking, etc.

Well they finally arived! they are supposed to be delivered in 14 days. Mine took a few days longer, but I think it was because someone forgot to ship them. I got an invoice from ups jbut couldn't track them. I emailed ASR and they sent them priority mail. They look good, but now I need help for the initial set up. I know I could just put them on, ride and trouble shoot, but if anyone that has them can give me a good place to start I would appreciate it. I don't have an alignment tool so if you can give me a number on how many threads (starting from all the way in) out it would really help. Please indicate which joint also as they have the large one that connects to the hub and two small ones that connect to the frame.

The sewing machine oil really gets in the joint, where as the chain lube being so thick, doesn't penetrate as well.
Plus the mess from chain lube would be a pain in the A$$.

Sewing machine oil eh...humm i'll have to give that a try. Thanks for thr tip.

Here is the link on how to set up your a-armshttp://www.lsracing.com/installguides.php?step=4&igid=5 No fancy tools needed at all. Just a tape measure and a 4 dollar angle finder that you can get at any hardware store.
