The quiet core is still listed as an 'insert' so I would have to say it is still a seperate item that can be added or removed.

The original DS pip does have the USFS Approved Stamp, and you dont loose this stamp just by putting on an endcap [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]. If you have a screen of some kind in the exaust you should be good as long as they dont check the sound levels of the end cap?

Yes, I'm aware that the stock muffler is stamped, thanks. I guess I left a little info. out of my post. I had troubles when I had my Trinity system on the DS, with screen clamped over the end. Always used to be fine with my 250R, but I had a few Rangers that stopped me with the DS, and didn't want me to run it , because of it not being stamped. I now have the HMF slip, and no more problems, plus better power than the Trinity system.

I hope we all are using arrestors here in the dry climate. With all the potential for fires, we don't need to give anyone any ideas of shutting down more land due an atv sparking a fire.
