front sand tires? do they help in the drags?

like the mowhawks, will you gain anything or are they just good for turning??

Yes, traction. Plus will be lighter than stock fronts. I would get skat trak smoothies or mohawks.

i take it there is less drag than a dirt tire. and does the smoothe turn ok in the sand

Smooth buffs turn alright in the sand. I didnt notice much diffrence when I tried a set of smooth buffs on mine. The mohawks turn just a little better but not much.
