countryjoeglass-I here what you are saying about people thinking that they will gain HP from a cdi but in my case on my baja the rev limiter would kick in so soon that it hindered performance so bad that any raise in the limit would be a benefit.A cdi may not give you horsepower but if it changes the power curve it can be seen as a real enhancement if it allows for pushing the rpms up higher between gear shifts.

All this talk about no gains with aftermarket CDIs has convinced me to stick with the stockers for my other DS.
