I want a grab bar that WON'T BEND

my alum. grab bar is all bent now from doing wheelies. is there any grab bar out there that is super strong? maybe I need a "wheelie bar"!!
I'm thinking of making my own with some thick steel flat bar for the ends and a short tube for the cross-peice, weld it together and bolt it up.

Just don't wheelie onto the grab bar. Just be careful of making your own too strong. I did that for a friend and he ended up bending his sub frame. I $30 grab bar is a lot cheaper than a new subframe.

They bend for a reason dude ... This prevents the subframe from bending.

Long wheelies are all about the rear brake... and when you miss the brake pedal with your foot you can bend a PRM grab bar.
You could hang a couple of skateboard wheels on you grab bar, but then be ready for comments from your friends about "training wheels."

I tore out the mounting holes for the grab bar doing wheelies and bent the stock grab bar beyond recognition!
I had to have some new steel welded onto the sub-frame.
I put the PMR desert grab bar from o n d u n e s http://on-dunes.com/Details.cfm?ProdID=120
I then cut some Black well pipe and put it around the grab bar just in case I do a wheelie and it goes back and hits the bar, that way the blacktop rubs on the disposable well pipe and not the aluminum. It works great!
