I don't know why some of you guys dont like the DS. Its Bombardier first try at a sport quad and they did a pretty good job at
it. And you know that they are only going to get better, Just look at the other stuff they make. SKIDOO a great snowmobile,SEADOO probally the best watercraft, with yamaha running a close second. Than you have CELEBERITY boats and don't forget about those planes to. So they are definitely a company with the means to make great quads and i'm sure they will. They already have a good reputation for makeing good reliable products and i'm sure they will continue to do so.

This is my post from another topic I don't think anybody read it and I felt I made a good point

I am amazed at the response of the origional opening question about anyone own a Bombardier ATV?, no one says they actually have one but are experts on the subject.
Does anyone read what they type?

I have a Traxter and love it for what I use it for. There is no perfect ATV or any other type equipment for all conditions, but for my use the Traxter does great.

1-Riding and enjoying the boondocks.
2-Pushing the micro sprint cars and towing them.
3-step through makes easy on/off
4-Plenty power, smooth and quiet

can go on and on but hope some one gets the picture, it fits me and I doubt if I'm the only person who finds it, a correct fit.

Forgot to mention I had a Honda 450ES before the Traxter. The 450ES is indeed a very fine ATV and who can go wrong with a Honda?

I found the Traxter a much more capable unit.
Give you an example, put the 450ES tail to tail with the Traxter, it wont take a genius or much time to show whick has what. If you bet on the Honda you Loose.

As for the law suits... I think it's because it's easier to get hurt on a quad than a bike, for a begginer. Most people I see starting out on dirtbikes are too scared to run them realy fast, they are concentrating on just keeping it running at all or even staying on the bike. Yet even the people who are scared of everything else, get on a quad, and it's easier to go too fast too soon. Even my Scrambler 500, isn't the fastest machine you can buy, but it's pretty fast. And it's extremely easy to ride. I see people that shouldn't be riding somthing as fast a Sport 400 or Scrambler riding them just because they are fast and so easy to drive. Sometimes they go too fast, and wreck. Maybe when they really should be on a slower quad or somthing.

And like the other guy said. When most people see a CR500, they step back and say, "that's too much." When they see a Banshee, they say "can I ride it?"

I think people just need to be smarter on their part. For instance, I had the chance to ride a Banshee numerous times, but always declined or didn't ask because based on what I had heard from other riders, I didn't think I was ready to ride one and be able to keep it under complete control. After getting plenty of expieriance on other quads & dirt bikes, the first time I rode a Banshee, it was a thrill, but I didn't find it difficult at all. If I had ridden in the first time I had the chance, would I have got hurt? Who knows, but I thought it's better not to risk it.

To keep it on topic, the new Bombardier looks cool.

I've had a Traxter for a little over 2 months now. Use it mostly for utility work but also do a little trail riding and running around. Tremendous low end torque, it's a real stump puller. Have the Bombardier plow on the front and have no problem clearing debris in fields and woods. The four wheel drive system is very impressive (have not even come close to being stuck). A little large for trail riding but handling feels lighter than it should on a machine this size. All in all for what I use it for I don't think I could find anything better.
