Is anybody running nitrous with a lectron carb. The reason I ask is because I have a 48hv on the way, and want to add a boondockers kit in the future. I would'nt even ask this question but I know how much different a lectron carb is than a TM or stocker. Thanks for the help.

 

Im running the lectron 48mm w/ 48mm intake and wet NOS system. I have noticed the lectron is MUCH more consistant as far as temp changed and air density. I havnt touched my 48mm lectron since I had the nos on....



I did notice when it gets real cold out (like 45 degrees) the bike did seem to run hotter than normal only at lower RPMs. So it does lean out a tiny bit in cooler air, BUT not much at all to affect the overall performance. I still cant get over how consistant the nos is with the carb, even with temp changes you dont get the difference in performance as you would w/ the TM and such. JMO

 

Thank for the input Annihilator, How do you hook up the pressure line to the bowl, did you have to drill a hole or something?

 

I didnt pressurize, I have a wet system, fogger in intake.

I have the 44mm lectron and run the boondocker and it work just fine. I have a few bugs to work out next year but it gettin there. 650viper also runs NO2 with a 46 mm lectron and it works great.

 

DSaholic if you dont mind me asking, what kind of problems have you run into so I can keep an eye out for them.
