I had the white brothers e-series on my 01 when I bought it. I was impressed by the power over the stock set up untill I did the end cap mod on my 02 baja. Big difference between the two. I even added additional disks to the e-series (which increased noise but no power increase). I eventually sold the white brothers on ebay and picked up a stock pipe for $10.00 and did the mod myself. If you don't mind the noise go with the end cap mod. You can pick up a cap from Mr. horsepower, way cheaper than an e-series.

 

Bahaman, thats crazy info. I love the e-series exhaust on all the quads I had, but I held out on the DS why? I just wasnt sold on any thing over the stock exhaust yet.the stock performed that good w/ the endcap thanks for that bit of info.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Ceramic coating helps alot on the stock pipe. The finish is nice & keeps the temps low.

 

Does any one here have the White brothers Pro-meg on a stock bore and stock carb, If so what jetting do you have and how is it with the stock headers and how is it to install, and special brackets?

You'll lose horsepower with a White Bros pipe. Use the HMF.

 

I agree with you. What I meant to say is there was an improvement with the e-series compared to the stock pipe with stock endcap. Once the stock endcap is opened up it outperforms the e-series by far.
