They will have the RazrII's mounted on them!!

Do you think this was a good price?

I suppose I should start saving for a clutch now. :-)

Oh Man I am touching myself! I can't wait to see these on my DS!
I ordered them from OMF. I dealt with a guy named Bones. He was very cool and very informative. They welded the inner reinforcing rings as we were speaking. I hope they made UPS or I probably won't see them until 2 Mondays from today(SAT) Then it will be too late for next Sat race. I will have to mount spare tires on bent rims and hope it doesn't kill my bearings. I figure one lap on those rims and I am guaranteed 19 points. I wouldn't even need to go fast. Yeah right. I tried that before and ended up finishing 4th! With bent front a-arms. I am going to paste a copy of the wheel to my photo page.
$250 per wheel and tire. Did I pay too much?

I have a feeling you got a fair shake if you went with OMF, I bought a set of tires and wheels mounted up from them and they took care of me very well. What more can you ask for? They were good on the phone, shipped primptly and the order arrived correctly and packed well. The price was good to boot. This was in 2001 and I worked with a guy named Leon.

That being Made in USA thing is a very good reason to buy the Douglas' not to mention they are a better product. I'm pretty sure all of my rims are Douglas made - I've got some red, blue and black label rims, just like a bruise!

I just check the HiperTech web site they now have better off-set for the DS. 3+2front like stock on newer DS I think. 9x9 in 3+6 or 4+5 and a 10X9 in 3+6 and a 10X10 in 4+6, I will have to look into them again.

Soooo... I could have gone with the Hipers for $4 less than OMF and I would not have had to pay shipping.
Had I gone with just the Douglas Beadlockers I would have had to spend $80 in shipping. I would have saved $94 That comes out to $23.50 per wheel and tire extra for the OMF/Douglas.
I feel good about it. They will be here in the morning.
Is it Christmas?
