new clutch --- hard to shift gear lever
i tighten them at 89 inch lbs when i got it out and seen it was hard to shift i brought it right back to the garage I didnt want to mess up something so i would say it wasnt warmed up all the way it has never done that before is it because of the woods springs?

springs shouldn't have anything to do with it, when you pull the clutch lever you are disengaging the clutch and compressing the springs, once the clutch is pulled the springs aren't doing anything at all except putting tension on your hand.
did you soak the new fuibers in oil prior to install? I mean really soak them, not just wipe a film on them? if they are not soaked well, they can cause too much friction and stick to the plates even after you pull the clutch lever in to release the pressure plate, cause a "popping into gear" scenario, and also cause premature wear of the new disks.
if you soaked them well, and the pressure plate is truly disengaging when you pull the lever, then there should be nothing wrong to cause popping into gear other than the ordinary that duneme and naturalite mention.
