I agree.

 

It really doesnt matter if the post is from 2000 or from yesterday, its not going to change the differences between a 21, 22, and 23" front tire setup. Its not like we are talking about engine work, suspension or what tire to buy. Just the tire size, and the differences are going to remain the same regarless of the times.

 

I have seen the past threads about the tire size. I also wanted to confirm about the steering, to make sure that it will not affect the steering in a negative way. If you read my original post you'll see that I asked more than just the tire size. Don't want to start anything one here, just wanted info. Thanks to everyone that's been helpful.

I wouldn't worry too much about the self appointed search police that always come out of the woodwork. If you've got a question feel free to ask it.

Steering geometry on a DS is better with a slightly taller front tire, so handling is better with a front tire that is 1 to 2 inches taller than the rear tire. If you are using a 20" rear tire you would want a 21" or 22" front tire, and if you use a 22" rear tire you are going to want a 23" front tire.

When i first put the 23 badlands on the front and took her out for a rip, it did handle a bit different, but now i dont even notice it.

 

I didnt tell anyone to search, I just made the point that it wasnt a new type of question. I personally am interested in the thread as I'm going to 22" rear paddles.

right now i've got my 23" bandit fronts with the "borrowed" pair of 22" mud machines from my bros ds, works awesome, doesn't push so bad like it did with the 21" on the front, plus not so twitchy either,
