I didnt mean to come across sounding offended, Im not .. But i do a lot of dealings buying stuff from overseas (mostly because everything costs the earth in the UK) and havnt been ripped off yet.
But like mr meaner i am usualy a bit more vigilant in my dealing with overseas trades.
Get the guy to send you a cashiers draft (or forgien currency order) and tell him you want it to be cleared for at least a couple of weeks before you send him the goods if hes honest he should have no problem with that, and as far as i know there is no way that it can be cheated, that said i dont know everything.

i have even put cash in an envelope and sent it to the US only £50 but it was ok, not a recommended solution but worked ok that time.

And if still in doubt dont do it, there was a 13 year old boy in wales that ripped off peaple to the tune of £60,000 on e bay. he was so young they cant do much to him.

I have been paid through paypal from germany a few times. never a problem. the hard part was communicating with someone that speaks and writes very little english. I would suggest collecting extra for paypal fees. I have a problem with paypal charging me for something that ebay has allready charged me for. double dippin motha f*&^%$S.

 

Yea just found that out. 250.00 ended up being 235.00
