Check out Google's new satellite map feature. Go to http://maps.google.com/ and hit "satellite" in the upper right corner. Type in the town and state nearest to your riding area and start scrolling. Have fun....

I've used sattellite photos to scan my future campsite and riding area. It can come in handy looking for obscure dunes and landmarks as well as trails. Pretty cool feature huh!

www.terraserver.com/
Has older sat views and U.S. geological survey maps (airplane photos) Not spyworthy but you should be able to make out your houses providing they existed at the time of the photos.

You were only about 12 hours behind me putting the link up on the Polaris section. Stealer! LOL It is pretty neat stuff. I was looking up my old houses and fishing spots. If the water is not too deep you can even get an idea of under water terrain. Pretty usefull when your looking for high spots out in the ocean.

That Google site is pretty cool. I went to my old riding area (Sandlake) and zoomed in and I could actually see cars and ATV tracks in the sand! Some of the images are not as good though. I tried to get the same resolutioni from Florence and didnt have any luck.
