Barnett clutch springs installation
lots and lots of info about putting the side cover back on, there is several posts from the big guys on here-majorecho,hightower, and some more I cant remember, just make sure you mark where your actuator lever is on the side cover with a marker cause when you pull it off it is gonna turn clockwise alittle and when you put the cover back on make sure the clutch arm is where it was when you had the cover off of the splined shaft inside, it will make sense when you pull the cover you will see what i mean, when you put the cover back on dont force it it should go on easy when it is on of the arm doesnt line up with your mark take the cover back off a little and move it one way or the other, oh yeah make sure you put some grease on the splined shaft and make sure it meshes with the clutch arm and make sure the water pump plastis gear lines up too, i had my waterpump cover off so i could turn the impeller to line up, the splined shaft inside the middle of the basket will turn and you have to have it in the right angle to align with the actuator in the cover check out this link clutch work let us know how it goes, everyone on here has tought me so much. someone please correct me if I am wrong

Clutch springs are easy. Ive got the 60% wood racing springs and I let MrHP ride mine at Aledo and he said he was a baby that my clutch was too hard to pull. He runs Barnetts on this bad a$$ 715 DS with 80+ HP and he said it never slips. They feel like stock. Im changing to them next time.
