I have dynoed every piston made for the DS. Going with higher compression will only gain minimal horsepower. What we have noticed more than anything is quicker acceleration through the gears. If Marky was loosing acceleration he was improperly tuned. The Gen1 14:1 that he is running weighs the same as the stock piston. The Gen2 FSR piston that I run weighs 377 grams. The Gen2 piston is very light but the forging is not designed specifically for a 100mm bore meaning is could be even lighter. That's why I am having a new forging built specifically for the DS in 100mm bore. Its almost done! Congratulations the DS world just keeps getting better.
