agman1999,
What year did you end up picking up, I have a 02 Yellow XT, they are built like tanks probably NOT another ATV built like this anywhere, just look at the frame on it.
I have 4200 hard miles on mine, and not a issue worth mentioning, haven't even changed brakes yet. I added the Perfex Susp. kit so the ride is not bad now, and put the AC Good year radials on it, so its even better, it can pull like nothing out there with the geared tranny and Visco Lock and its weight work is NO match for this machine. The rad in the back idea was a good idea as it is protected more too. I get a 123 miles on 5 gallons of gas.
If you'd like to know more just ask, I've had mine for 3 1/2 years now, so I have some good riding time.

Mine is an '03. Actually, I guess you could say that both of mine are '03s. After I bought mine, my girlfriend decided that she wanted the other one that the dealer still had in stock.
I've added a set of ITP wheels and Mudlite XL tires (27 front, 28 rear), along with a bumper extension that I picked up on ebay. For me, it's strengths and weaknesses are really well balanced. It's not terribly fast, but I can put it in 3rd on the low side and the kids can putt around on it all afternoon without changing gears. I've climbed some pretty nasty hills with it in the mud, and it really does well. It's big enough that it makes my roommate's Grizzly look like 250 Recon when they're parked side by side.
