I guess Bombardier wants to be #1 when it comes to high performance quads, if they build this beast.

 

They just probably want to dominate every aspect of ATV's. There is so much money out there being spent on them, I can see why.

Plus, I'm sure that they want to show the Japs that an American owned and Canadian built ATV can spank all over their precious, outdated Banshee.

 

"Honey, I know we just dropped a bundle on it, but I just think that the Raptor is way to powerful for the two of us, I think we need to move down to a 380!"

 

Knowing that Bombardier is pretty serious about being a "real" player in the high perf market, Id be VERY tempted to sell the banshee.

Bombardier will NEVER build a 2 stroke ATV.

Why would they, with all the power available from 4 strokes ?

 

Id buy that for a DOLLAR!

 

I would be in line to replace my banshee...maybe. The reason SprintPusher they would build it is you need double the displacment for a 4 stroke to generate the same power and some of us, myself included, are very fond of the two stroke snap ; )

I love my Raptor but I also love my BANSHEE!

 

SprintPusher, a Rotax 380 twin 2-stroker would make the Raptor or even the DS, look like a crippled turtle in flat out acceleration.

380? for what why not a 500 or 600 twin two stroker. the 380 would be a different color banshee thats all so what!
the tech is available in the snow sleds they are like 600 pounds and can still hench the skies up for a hundred yards( after small mods).
so I really dont see y we are stuck with less hp and less cc`s then snow sleds or even personal water craft.
