Just letting everyone know the weather is good. Jed got the first spot. We had a nice evening meeting and talking with the guys that have showed up so far. DS650Viper, Duneme, Sandaholic, Blackhawk and 4 or five more Im too tired to remember.

 

Cool odp......we're hoping to be there about 9pm tonight. Just hope I can find a good spot for my rig

 

Exactly - The parking was no problem last night. But things will start filling up tonight. I heard a news report about President Bush recommending that people not travel if they didnt need to this weekend because of the fuel situation - The motel had 10 cancellations. I thought that was interesting. The highest gas price I saw in the way here was $3.67 per gallon for Unleaded.

Sean, people have been wondering where you are. Glad to see you are coming out in the morning. The core group so far is about 15 - 20 folks or so. Most of the day was used up trying to stay out of the 100 degree weather. Late in the afternoon, a lot of time was spent tuning the quads. We ended up at the campfire and some of Blackhawks Apple pie made its way around. I think everyone will get dialed in by tomorrow and hopefully will get some good runs. I ended up getting a big hole in my rear tire so I'll spend part of the morning getting that taken care of tomorrow.

Well I just rolled in the door from DS Days. It was great to meet the forum members and put faces to names.
