Roll call for ds days!

OH Hell NO!! Not a yfz rider AND a trx guy! Well since you mentioned beer, I'll drink enough of them all the bikes will look the same! LOL We will have 1,2,3,4,5,6.....6 ds's with our group, plus maybe an odd ball bike as well. We are leaving early thursday and will be arriving mid day thursday. Thats too bad Jeffinrivercity is not going to make it, no defending his crown this time so its all up for grabs this year. I think I'm going to take Sandbombers lug nuts off, take all the air out of Marios tires, then maybe, just maybe, if I go on one, instead of three, i'll shoot sand on anybody trying to pass, and just as they get to my rear tire, I'll turn out and say THATS THE TOP, I WIN YA HOO!!

OK here it is.
I will be leaving early Thursday morning heading out of Corona up the I-15 to the 395. Then I plan to take the US-6 to the SR-360. Then stay on the SR-360 until the US-95. Head N/W on the US-95 until the SR-361 and then the SR-361 to the US-50 and turn left (west) for about 16 miles and then look for the turn off for Sand Mountain? Does that sound right, kinda, sorta?

Yes that works just fine, the only thing is make sure you have plenty of gas/fuel when you leave Bishop. when you take 361 to 50 you go through Gabbs and they quit selling gas about noon-one aclock. There's no fuel or food between Bishop and Fallon and if you take 361 through Gabbs you basically have nothing. Well I take that back, the Gabbs General Store happend to be open and we got some ice there, not much more available. Just keep it in mind.

Fallon is about 28 miles each way, nice break to hop in the truck with some AC during the day and take a cruze into civilization. Depending on what you have to do, it takes about 2 -2 1/2 hrs, to run into Fallon. If you think you have any last minute shoping to do, do it iin Bishop or plan on going up 95 to Fallon.

I'll probably stop in Bishop about 11:30 for lunch before continuing up the SR-6. I should arrive at Sand Mountian around 3:30..
That should give me plenty of time to figure out where everyone is going to setup camp.
