If it were me, I would stop guessing about the timing and take the valve cover off, set it at TDC and see where the cams are at. If the timing is off and you are messing with the carbs, then the carbs will be off when the timing is fixed.

If it were me, I would stop guessing about the timing and take the valve cover off, set it at TDC and see where the cams are at. If the timing is off and you are messing with the carbs, then the carbs will be off when the timing is fixed.

i'm really getting pissed now cause something is draining my batterry.
The other day I leaned out the carb a little and it seemed to backfire less often and start a little easier.
Today I leaned it out a little more and it backfires worse than when I first put it back together.
i'm so upset, I'm eating a bag of Cheetos and I don't even eat that crap![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]
