Default HELP--Bomb. RALLY acceleration problem

My 2003 rally ran great for two years. Now after running for 30 minutes or so, it still runs great in flat areas, but has NO POWER and no acceleration going up any type of incline/hill. Push the throttle and basically--nothing--when going up hills..just a slow crawl which obviously sux. My buddy checked/cleaned the carb, clutch, radiator and air filter and it ran great for one day then back to the crawl on hills the next day. Any advice would be appreciated..

check the rubber intake- several were installed incorrectly at the factory and eventually squeeze off of the head. Once it happens, they wont stay on for long ever again.

well, if cleaning the carb helped it to run great for a day, it may be plugged off again. Possible fuel tank contamination. This time clean out the fuel tank and fuel petcock and fuel lines when you clean the carb again.

Hope it helps
