BIG THANKS TO DSAHOLIC
#1
My family and I was lucky enough to spend a weekend at LS UT, over the weekend with DSa and soon to be Mrs. DSa. We had a really good time. It was a short fast weekend and the wind blew like crazy but it was worth it. Didnt get to do much hillshooting, just didnt feel right making my wife kids sit there while I played but thats OK. Matt was really cool about helping me out with my son on the rides. His lil quad didnt go many places and DSa got quite the workout getting him up some of those hills. I think Kyle has a new hero!!! It was funny, he wanted to do everything Matt did cept go up sand Mtn. The family all said they are really looking forward to going again.
Again, Thanks Matt, as always your hospitality was top notch. I have to figure out someway that I can return the favors, your a class act for sure! Only bad thing is now I have to figure out what to do with this Shee. Keep it and put some $$ in it or sell/trade it for a V-force!
Word to the wise for all.....Watch out for the hornets around there. I got stung on my inner thigh and I have a welt on my leg the size of a softball. OUCH!!!!! Yep it was close,,,,,,,I got lucky!

Sounds like if the hornet had got any closer your Wife would have Matt watching the kids for the rest of the weekend while she locked you in the trailer
Mrs. DSA. . . I think she's the last non-honest woman in Utah 'bout time!!!
I got to spend a little more time with Matt this last DS Day's. He's a good guy to hang with. . . as long as he doesn't try to run anyone over at 50mph
If you and the Mrs. are sharing the Shee, the V-force may be easier to ride. But, enjoy it for a while, the Shee may drop in value a little but, the used V-forces will too so, should be able to find what you want just as easy next year. Who knows. By then there may be a DS800 (auto) out. . . Bet that would be a fun ride Speed and an auto. (I like shifting mine but, there are those out there that want an auto.)

Well I think I am going to cry..........
Todd you know that you are always welcome and it is good to see you happy and back on you feet. I had a good time but wish that we were able to get back over to the hill so you could take to DS up a few time on the bottle. I came back with to full bottles and one that is about 3/4 full. The dunes down there are so hammered from all the wind that we have had this year that you have to be real carefull going anywhere. I was out with some of the regular group and almost bit it a few time on the way over to the mountain.
Hey Jed, you remember the stunt Robley pulled at St A's with his wheel? Well Todd did him one up, he forgot to tighten the nuts and the on his way down the trail got to see his tire pass him up as it went flying off the trail.....LOL. There was no harm done and with a few nuts off Danielle's banshee that was back at camp he was up and running again.
Todd update on doug's bike. The piston went BOOM and might have taken out the crank with it. From the looks of it the piston skirt was too thin and let go. That is why there was smoke coming out the breather tube. I think that doug will end up with a long rod falicon crank and a 500 kit to make a 535!!! I would think that that thing should get it on pretty good.
Hey duneme, I didn't mean to run over that guy I just thought that he could use a bit of a boost up the hill..... Yup buy the next DS days I will be a married man.
Oh yea Todd I still wish I had seen you tear off your pants in the middle of the road.....I still get a laugh out of it just thinking about it. Now I don't care who you are that is funny.

NO WAY!! The piston was toast huh? That was sure weird. Its a good thing he shut her down when he did or it would have been really bad!!
That tire thing really sucked. I felt like such a toon!! I hope "The Rock" LMFAO didnt mind some scratches on his rim. If he did, let me know I will pay him for it.
Duneme, My wife has a Poo 300 Xpress 2 smoker. She really likes it and for being her first time really riding the quad and her first time ever on the dunes, I think she did really really well.
As of right now I am keeping the Shee for a while, even if DSA says I make it look like a kids quad when I am on it. I think I am going to give it a try. On my list of things to do is sell the 20" ITP's and go with as tall as I can find, hopefully a 24" tire for trails along with some taller fronts. A +2 swingarm or swingarm extension. Some tipple buffs front and rear for sand. getting a 11 and 12 th front sprockets to try. New front brakes off of a YFZ, I think some YFZ front shocks, Have Works go thru the rear shock. Nerfbars with wider footpegs. Maybe some A-arms if a good deal presents itself. New set of full plastics. different lights. Then in the motor I am thinking trail porting, new pistons and rings, 2 into one carb with dial-a-jet, lightend flywheel, timing plate, TORS elimination kit, maybe a cool head, and high flow impeller. I want to put on the boondockers NOS on it too....I think....still have a hard time not going wet system but I think the Boon would be easier with the twin cylinder. What ya think?
As for the Hornet, I hope that thing dies a long and suffering death. My leg was still way swollen yesterday and itched to heII and back. Finally last night I starilized a knife and split the lump open and squeezed out as much fluid as I could. today it doing much better and only bout a 3rd of the size.

Mrs. Demon here, hello all. You did miss quite a strip tease thats for sure. I'm still bustin a gut over that one! Don't worry all, I'll take good care of him. He'll be back to himself in no time.
Thanks again Matt and Danielle for a great time. Wish it could of been longer. Kyle hasn't stopped talking about it. Lots of fun.

Demon, uhem, Boondockers, uhem! j/k I have seen a few setups on banshees, the downside is you have to use two manifolds. But they take to it very well. Hey we will be drivng past your neck of the woods tomorrow, I'll honk and wave!
