I went through the big D a few years back. I got the kids, she got a new husband. I will be brief. Concentrate on the son and your own person. Help the ex. Be glad the GF was able to show you her true character soon and is gone. For now and till your son is 18 you should do all you can for him. Having a GF is way down on the list. Do the right thing. Time will pass and things will get better. This is just a chapter in your life. You want to be able to look back and know you did the best you could. I won't preach, but church is on Sunday.
