Scatterbrain, as it was pointed out earlier; you are teaching your son a valuable life lesson by helping out his mother. And this of course helps out the most important person; your son. But I think that you are also teaching him a lesson in that you, his father, while married to his mother, had a girlfriend who was also married. I’m sure you where separated, but in your sons eyes, you where still married to his mother. Sorry if I sound like an a$$, but I’ve been that kid.

 

Doing the right thing is not always easy. Words like honesty, commitment, morality, integrity, virtue, character, and honor just to name a few seem to have left way to many persons vocabulary.

 

my ex-wife cheated on me. (I still need to change my pics page!) Our divorce was final in Jan. She now lives with some scummy guy, I just don't get it....

Anyway, the way I feel if my ex got hurt that bad I'd consider it Karma & Gods punishment for her being a filthy tramp. In fact, I'd probably be sure to call and tell her that.

 

One other thing & I'm serious here. I really believe an Asian woman is the way to go in the future. They are smart, motivated & most of all respectful!
My friend has an Asian wife & her attitude just blows me away. American woman have been ruined by this 1960s women lib BS. They want to run the house but still can't balance a checkbook or put gas in their own damn car. They want instant gratification. They want what they want right now & they want it right now. If you can't give it to them now they go out & try & find someone who will. No-one wants to work for anything anymore. I used to come home from work to a crazy person and get nagged. My friend comes home to his Asian wife (who also worked 8 hours) & she says, "I know you worked all day & want to unwind so I'll go for a walk & leave you alone." !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I almost fell down! Needless to say those mail order brides look pretty good. I need to get out of OH. The left coast has alot more Asians. San Fran here I come!

There's no easy answer to your situation, and I'm sure there's a lot more baggage that we haven't heard about yet, nor do we need to hear about. There's not much more I could say that hasn't been said already in this thread.
Here's my 2 cents...I believe strongly in these following statements, so please don't be offended if you believe the opposite. No matter what, you have to stay optimistic. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel, and you'll always get there. Please try not to resort to alcohol to loosen the tension. There's more harm than good that comes out of having "a drink" when times are tough. Sometimes life takes sacrifice to make ends meet. It may be in your best interest to sacrifice a few "toys" to keep the business going and bills payed. I offer this advice and wish you happiness and success in your future.

Finally, I think I speak for everybody when I say feel free to post any other problems you may need advice on. Underneath all our helmet-haired skulls, there is a lot of great knowledge from guys that want to see you happy again.

Keep it up you are doing the right thing, the girl friend is pobably just a little insecure. Thing is I have been divorced for 27 years and it never ends with my first grandchild do in June I am assurred to see the ex again. It really is never ending, when there is a child involved.

Since I am stationed out on the left coast, I know a lot and I mean a lot of Marines married to asian women, and most are good to go. However; I have known too many guys married asain ladies to say that they do not have as many faults as any other woman. I do agree that too many american women have been ruined by womens lib, which is why I imported a wife myself!!!!
