Default East Coast DS Days - Silver Lake Sand Dunes

Nothing happened to the 720cc kit. I took it off for the trip to silver lake while waiting for a new set of rings. The rings that JE supplies with the 105mm piston are for race purposes only. The 1st, 2nd, and oil rings are ALL very very low tension. The 1st and 2nd rings are back cut which reduces tension. They only seal well at WOT and consume some oil. I am putting in rings with a little more tension.

My DS is currently setup for short 300 feet racing. No-one was ever ahead of me at any point on Saturday.

Choose, you aint gettin out that easy.
Cmon man. Drag bikes are def allowed into the park, just Put a sparky on that beast and pony express on up here.
And dont try and tell me you cant put a sparky on a drag bike. Weve got guys up here running in the 3's with sparkys on. It can be done.

Dstroyer and I drove down to your event and had a great time. Now its time for you to give us the opportunity to repay some of that hospitality.

Now come time, you need to get in that truck and haul your skinny tail up here.

Turned out to be a 3" hose that partially popped off causing a huge air leak. Didn't find that out until I got home. I've been making some changes to the setup lately, only getting faster.

drag bikes are allowed, just need a spark arrestor on the end of pipe.
Scoob, we didnt get a chance to race on the 4th of July weekend, did we?

Maybe at DS daze I'll get a shot. Turbo vs Turbo. I'll only run 5 lbs of boost and you can crank yours up to 15.

Sounds like fun for all.

I'm thinking of heading up, it will be my first trip since 04.
How strict are they about noise? I usually ride Thurs & Fri & never get checked. I'm afraid my HMF might get me booted on a week-end.

You'll be alright, I have the same pipe and when they start checking I usually take a break or just wait till they pull someone off to the side then sneak right in. I have been probably 10 times in the past two years and have never been checked. Don't let that stop ya from going.

Hey choose. I would guess about 16-18 hrs. I drove to my sisters house which is about half way down the east side of the sate and I think it took me around 13-14 hrs, and I am south east of silver lake about 5-6 hrs I am guessing.

If they do catch ya without the quiet core, will they give ya chance to put it on or will they just boot ya out? I just ordered mine but I may take a chance with leaving it out until I would get caught if they would let me put it in before booting me.
Hey another ? what about the 2 strokes, do they have to have sparky's in there pipes, because one of my buddies will have his banshee there and he does'nt think he can even get sparky's for the pipes that he has??????? A solid answere would be greatfull. Thanks, RUSS
