That is true. My homes have not gone up 66%. That is for sure. When I bought my clutch, the Barnett was $150...........that was last Nov or Dec I guess.

I dunno........everything is getting pricey!

"whats wrong with the stock clutch? seems there in the 130 range they seem to last well. well like he said the lock out will help on the clutch set up. "

Nothing is wrong with stock clutch plates. They will last a long time. With the added plates, you have a grand stack total of .15 to .20mm fiber plate warpage variance. More than that, and a $380 clutch basket is the next thing to break. After that, transmission. Barnetts don't give, so extra plates will rip parts out if they warp before they wear down. Beware.

Yea well add the $20 plus to it for shipping. How much does an outerware or should I say Snowware weigh? Oh yea then you can add yet another 3 to 4% for using your credit card. Then you can wait for for 6 weeks to get it.

On-dunes charges $15.50 to ship a clutch, boxed and out the door its a 3 lb. package. Shipping is NOT a profit center for on-dunes and in fact more often than you would believe and way more often than Glenn and I would like our shipping charge does not cover our actual shipping costs. Here's a real example, a customer ordered a part that we sell at $79.95 our dealer cost is $69.95. Because the part is seldom ordered (we've sold 2 ) and available in several colors we do not inventory this item. We were charged $11.04 to ship it in, our actual cost to ship the item to our customer was $ 8.40 and our shipping charge to our customer was $ 8.50. You do the math!
An outerware weighs 1 lb. to ship, UPS has a minimum charge, nothing in a box weighs less than 1 lb. If your order weighs 1.25 lbs. it ships as a 2 lb. package, 2.25 lbs. becomes 3 lbs. This is UPS's fee structure its how the system works.
The K&N part # SN-2550PK that we have always called an outerware or precharger now comes with K&N SNOWCHARGER printed on it, it is the exact same material and the exact same part that it has always been. If having K&N SNOWCHARGER printed on it offends you please DO NOT order this part.
On-dunes does not charge our customers an additional credit card fee. Both paypal and the banks charge on-dunes a fee on every transaction, it is factored in as one of the costs of being in business.
The time delay between placing your order and receiving your order is influenced by many things, do I have the item in stock, does the manufacturer or distributer have the item in stock, if they are out of stock how long before the next manufacturing or production run, how long does it take for the maufacturer/distributer to get the item to me ? As we learn which items are steady sellers we are building up our inventory. As we learn who does or does not ship out in a timely manner we are adjusting when to order new stock. If you have ordered a part that is being newly delevoped or manufactured for the DS you may encounter " uncomfortable " delays. Sometimes there are kinks, bugs, and wrinkles to be ironed out when perfecting a new product. Try to look on the bright side, due to the hard work of many people there are more performance parts available for the DS than ever before!
In reguards to pricing, guys the price of goods is going up. The clutches Marky sold for $120 I cannot buy for $120. Time and again when I order in new stock I learn that our replacement cost is higher than our current store price! Many manufacturers have not published or sent us current pricing information yet they have increased there prices. In addition many manufacturers control the price at which a dealer can sell there product, if we are caught selling a product below a manufactures pricing guidlines we risk losing our dealership status.
Glenn and I bought on-dunes because of our love of ATV's and the ATV community, we are doing our best to provide great products to great people at prices that will allow us to service you for many years to come. Thanks, Ron.

i know its hard to make a go at a buisiness like that, have you ever thought about becoming affiliated with a bigger store that moves more product, kinda like a sister company. rocky mountain has such a high product turnover that they can get stuff alot cheaper becouse of buying in bulk, i do need to talk to you guys though off the record. almost evry company has a sister company.

Cape, drop ship those items. No reason to have it shipped twice.
