Default Hydrualic Clutch Installation

I have read all the threads on the hydraulic clutch. I bought one any way. I haven't been able to even look at my DS in 6 months (work). I have all kinds of goodies to install. Does anyone have any tips on the installation method for the Magura Hydraulic Clutch? Pics would help. Thanks guys.

Default Hydrualic Clutch Installation

I tried to find the pics that someone else posted a long long time ago but couldnt find them on my pc. I remember the biggest thing was routing the cable and using the little spacers they sent. The spacers helped get the correct amount of pull for the actuator arm to pull back, Make a mark of how far the current one pulls back before removing. I also remember someone else saying they moved their arm a few notches to help with the pull but I dont think I did that with mine, I think I used the two small spacers.

Mine was a BRP acessory item that came fully assembled. If I remember correctly, you will have to loosen your oil tank in order to fit the slave cylinder through the same routing that the cable took. Once you have it routed, make sure that the hose is not rubbing on any sharp edges. I didn't use any spacers with mine and it worked pretty well. The only problem was getting it into nutural with the engine running but the improvement far ouweighed the problem. I think you'll fine that its very easy to install once you get started.

I like it alot but I had to remove it when I bought another DS for me. So I get to do the reinstall too. When I bought mine (like 2 or 3 years ago) I called Magura somewhere back east and they gave me a kit for I believe a kawasaki bike that would work on the DS. It was an easy install and I really like the easy pull.
