Bombardier owners...an elite group

The outlanders are great utility atv`s but there not a rugged as the arctic cats. They have a better suspension for high speed and comfort but the arctic cats are more for heavy trails. I think that rider skill is a big issue but the racks are really a joke on the bomb and its not anything that i would take hunting. Im getting ready to buy a new atv was looking at bomb and a cat dealer sat on the cat and felt more at home. Its more of a work horse atv. I sat on the bomb it felt cheap really, but the price tag said otherwise. Im not bashing the bomb but that was just my impression of it. Its ugly too. There is not doubt in my mind when i get my ac 400 my bosses bomb going to out perform me out in the open but when the rugged stuff comes up i dont think so. Plus i like the fact my cat will be oil cooled and a jap motor less parts to break and reliabilty. I think were are comparing the best atv`s on the market but the serve too diffrent purposes. Its like taking a cadillac escilade out on a trail against a toyota tacoma ? the caddy has more power, better ride, and leather but the toyota will out last, out 4x4, and not be as pretty. Im going for the cat let the bombs pass me by ill catch up in the rough stuff. If i want speed ill get a race quad like the ds650 anyday. Plus has anyone looked at the racks on the cat there really nice most modifiable of all atv`s. The dealer i wnet sells both atv`s and say both are great but he like arctic cat a little better but he`s not a weekend warrior he hunts with them, says they never come in for anything major just services. Have you seen the prices for the bombs parts whoa. If i could afford it id the the outlander 800 if that helps hands down baddest machine built for speed and power.

Im calling a truce. As he said, the best two quads on the market. I can see that because they are the only two with 3 year warranties! Boms are great for your riding preference, and Cats are right for mine.

I don't have a problem with V2. I just thought his comparison was inappropriate so I took it on. After he got done clarifying, I didn't have problem with it anymore.
I'm sure he is a great guy...........even if he did call me some unseemly names
Now which one of you little woodpeckers called me a Fry Cook for McDonalds! Thats funny right there

Well, I have owned and ridden many different brand bikes/quads, and the one I feel the most elite on is the one I am riding at the time, but, if there is one quad I felt the most elite on is my modded Banshee. It is so contankerous, demanding, unforgiving and some even say ugly, that most my friends have given up on them and gone 4-stroke. One told me it was a quad for the younger set (I'm 59). Well, I guess he was right as I now have a new z400, and I love it too! I'm keeping the Bansee for the time I feel the need to kick butt climbing Olds! And if I want to ride the trails, nothing equals my Outty 400XT for comfort, except maybe an AC, or Polaris or Suzuki or....well you know what I mean!
Anyway, most people are not rich enough to own all of them, so we have to choose, and to me we are all very elite just to be in this great family sport.
Cheers!

You better hope, when riding the "rough stuff" that the Bomb rider, when he catches up to you, stops and helps you pick up your 'Cat from its side. I've seen several 'Cats fall over on level ground, of course the rider was trying to slide it. Then there are off camber trails.....
'Cats work great in the mud though, all the ground clearence......
Again, why do they come hear to bash Bombs? Must be envy!!!!
