Yea... Nut, you went over to the Yami forum and asked those guys to all put in and buy you a YFZ, didn't you. LTZEvil sniffed you out though. I read that thread and it was a freakin riot. They really didn't get it at all. I guess its good that we stay over here... the brand of sarcasm here is different than some other places on this forum. Other than that the BRP guys have pretty much stayed in this part of the ATVC world. Its better that way.

You don't understand because you don't own one. Not saying the Asian bikes aren't nice but they are "me too" bikes. Sure a hopped Chevy might be faster than a Porsche & cost less to get that way, but a Chevy is still just a Chevy. It's like when I had my 5.0 (a me too car) & I had my 69 IH 4x4 truck. The group of guys with the IHs were so much cooler than the group with the Mustangs. It's like Deja-vu with the DS.

 

01ds650, I've spend plenty of time on DS's, and I ride what I ride because it physically fits me the best. If I was as big as a lot of the guys that I see on DS, I to would without a doubt be riding one. You have a good point that different niche groups of folks seem to be more cohesive than others, i.e. DS days @ Sandmountain UT. You don't ever see big groups of yammy and honda owners meeting up at the dunes, like you see these DS forum guys (ladies cynick)

I have a PC800, and its one of those niche("cult following") street bikes, ya either hate it or swear by it, my main focus to my original post on this thread was the whole name calling, mines faster, and one brand is better than the other mentallity that was being portrayed. So I would argue that I "do understand" the point of views expressed by some on this thread, but just don't completely buy into it[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

Like he basically said, no quad is "better" than the other brands.

I had to look your bike up. I had no idea what you were talking about. I've seen those I'm sure, just never paid attention.
I know what you mean. Anyone who craves MX would certainly not buy a DS. My point was only it's that weird small group of us against the wrorl thing. Like IH Scouts in a world full of Jeeps. You can pick one out from a mile away.

Well i almost forgot gotta 2 fuel the fire! The way i see it if you dont own a bomb, your mumblin about a bomb you seen in 2002 probably with 10,000miles on it, that broke down. It seems to be a never endin story and the jealously keeps gettin bigger. Thx god im off to work tomorrow so i dont have to listen to 'v2'
