It'll feel like the A/C is on to us after the what was it 7-days of 100+ temps?

Had one hot day last year. . . maybe 85ish.

Ride in the morning and evening and play around camp during the day.

We'll be there, staying at Sandhills the 8th till the 12th.
Jed, try to come back and stay a few days that weekend, weather should be alot better than it was on Memorial. Cynick, I see you are staying at sandhills also. We'll be staying out behind the office this time, on the cement pads, come say hi.

For anybody else staying at Sandhills this year, check out the picture on the counter in the office of the 2 motorhomes and all the snow. That's me on the left and a friend leaving the Monday morning after Easter this year. We woke up that morning to about 4 inches of snow and thought it was time to go.

I was at desert oasis all day on the 4th, I asked around but no one seemed to know where you where Jed! I looked at the very back camp ground as well as at the other dry camp are. My cousin and his buddies brought up some super fast sand rails with incredible suspensions. We were doing about 100mph behind choke cherry in the big bowl. We were also jumping at the base of choke. We went around the 2 trees where the turn around is and jumped up to the base of choke and then ran up it at about 70mph, what a rush. It is amazing how much speed and suspension money can buy. I am guessing his rail had about 400-500hp, it has a 2003 corvette engine with twin turbos. It went from 0-60 in what seemed like about 2 seconds.

I had a fun time on the DS in the afternoon, I only saw 2 other DS's, an 05 baja X and Red one, not sure what year. Hopefully we will meet up next time. Sorry I missed you guys, maybe I can stay around longer next time.

Newbomber, we were up on the hill. But we all pulled out before noon on the 4th. Sorry we missed you. That rail sounds bad ****. I have seen a couple twin turbo rails run, and man are they fast. We'll catch ya next time.
