I was on the phone with the BLM today and asking when they were having there Amnesty Registration day like they used to, To my surprise they don't do it any more they stated that the DMV could not afford it anymore, why I'm so bugged about this if any one of us Californians ever had to register a out state Quad or Bike or Rail its a major pain, you gotta go to the DMV, then to the CHP and make an appointment then take all the quads, or other toys back to the DMV to get tags, that's some time and money for a green sticker, and I know we have friends that don't pay there Green sticker fees also, but heck im wanting to keep our riding place's we have left open,but its getting harder and harder to be legit, just a note a ticket is $50.00 if you get caight, but I have a quad thats never had a sticker on it for 6 years @ $25.00 a year $150.00 (quad was from Nevada) meaning its cheaper to pay a fine if you get caight than deal with the DMV thats just not right!!
GRRRRRR just wanted to crank about the DMV, BTW if any ratts me out my name is Jose Gonzallesramoiriz Antone.

The part that kills me is the money they take from the green sticker fund and put in the general fund, or spend on campgrounds that do not even allow OHVs. We even have to pay to not register our vehicles in California!!!!!!

I try to teach the kids that its important to obey the law, and do our part to be good citizens, but the stupid fines and poor management make it hard to justify being legal.
