ds650 starting issues
#1
Hi everyone, I am a noob here but I am just wondering if anyone can help with my issue. My 2000 ds650 takes forever to start and almost acts like its starving for fuel. Its got an aftermarket rev box but im not sure what kind. I also just replaced the battery. Once it finally does start it seems to run fine, and if I shut it off it will fire right back up. Any suggestions?

well if everything is connected fine liek the battery I would say it is either starving for fuel or the spark plugs need to be replaced and make sure they are gapped correct when you get them I believe it is .006 under the seat should tell you...either that or it could be the cdi depending on what brand you got it could be junk like I have heard procom is a bad cdi to buy alot of problems...I believe it is more an electrical problem such as the cdi or spark plugs or maybe even one of the coils are going bad.
